Want to Know More? Originally created in April 2009 this print titled, “Racing Pride” was created for my wonderful wife’s family down in good “ole” Georgia. They are truly some of my biggest fans and Dale Jr.’s! After countless hours of research and close to 72 hours of “hands on” drawing time-this tribute to one of racing’s coolest cowboys–crossed the finish line!
This collage has all things Dale Jr., including his history and accomplishments, sponsors, as well as some of his favorite race tracks. This piece was created to personally commemorate Dale Jr., and to capture the entire racing experience. “Racing Pride” has a southern feel with plenty of fun images for you to discover.
Can you find the turkey-leg on race day, or some moonshine in a jar? There are tons of images including racing paraphernalia, tracks, and some downright humorous “country-folk” references. I hope ya’ll enjoy my work. Look close, do you see what I see?
